New Member Signup Process

Whether you’re coming for daycamp, stopping by for a nail trim, or signing up for puppy playtime we require that all clients complete proper documentation prior to their first visit.

Membership Is Always Free

There is no cost with becoming a member at The Pawsh Dog. Our membership process is a way of registering your dog so we can fully understand their needs, have their complete vaccination history, and are aware of any other important details so we can provide the best level of care for everyone in our facility.

Step 1: Create A Client Account

Take the first step in becoming part of The Pawsh Dog family by registering  for a client account on our Gingr website. Here you can complete your customer profile, let us know about your dog and their needs, accept our terms and conditions, upload the necessary vaccination paperwork and schedule your dog’s first visit.

Gingr can be accessed from a desktop, tablet or mobile device!

Step 2: Submit Vaccine Information

We require all dogs in our facility to be ten weeks of age and have received their second set of vaccinations. As your puppy grows, you should keep up to date with your veterinarians vaccine schedule.

All dogs over six months of age must be fully vaccinated for distemper, rabies, and parvo. The bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine is highly recommended, but due to controversial administration methods and effectiveness we leave this choice between you and your veterinarian.

Vaccine information can be uploaded to your Gingr account, emailed to clientcare@thepawshdog.com or brought into the store.

Step 3: Book Group Play Assessment

If you are applying for group play services like Group Play Daycamp or Group Play Hotel you will need to book a group play assessment prior to your first day.

Not every dog is well suited to our group play program. Our primary goal with group play is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for your dog as well as the other guests in our care. The assessment and orientation process will ensure that your pooch meets all of our entry criteria.

The group play assessment will be completed with one of our staff members, the owner and their dog. During the meeting we will get to learn about your dog, understand their behaviour and temperament and go over admission requirements for group play services.

Step 4: Prepare For Your First Service

Once you have registered for your first service and completed the necessary documentation you are ready to visit one of our stores!

All dogs at our facility must be checked in upon arrival. Our staff may have some additional questions to ask you during the check in process. If you have a grooming appointment, be prepared to discuss what type of cut you are looking for or show us some pictures. Once the groom is complete we will be in contact to let you know they are ready for pickup, please let us know if you do not have a cellphone as you we do send out text message notifications.
